Premium Residences and Grupo De Valle have officially started the construction of La Quinta San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic
The modern 126-room complex, from the renowned world brand, gives a boost to tourism in that thriving province of Cibao.
San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic, December 18, 2023.- Premium Residences and the Grupo De Valle started construction work here on a modern 126-room hotel, with an investment that exceeds 12 million dollars.
The hotel is from the renowned international brand La Quinta, which in its construction phase alone will generate about 500 direct and indirect jobs and another 200 when it comes into operation by the summer of 2025.
The hotel will feature four retail spaces, an elegant lobby, lobby bar and restaurant, coworking spaces and a gym where locals can purchase coworking and fitness day passes, a pool and poolside bar, and the only lounge rooftop and bar throughout the region.
The opening ceremony of the construction of the modern hotel was carried out with the presence of the main investors and provincial authorities, who highlighted the importance of the hotel in an area as productive as San Francisco de Macorís.
The activity was headed by businessman Franklin Romero, one of the main shareholders and Mr. Ivanov Collado, and Mr. Edward De Valle II and Curt Mc Guire, the master franchisees and exclusive representatives of La Quinta by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts in the Dominican Republic.
“The construction of La Quinta San Francisco de Macorís is a significant achievement for our city, its people and Premium Residences,” said Romero, president of Premium Residences.
For his part, Collado reported that the construction of the hotel is progressing according to schedule and its inauguration is scheduled for the summer of 2025.
The Master Franchisee of La Quinta by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and president of the Grupo GD, Edward De Valle II, highlighted the political stability and good investment climate that exists in the Dominican Republic.
“The Dominican Republic is the most economically and politically stable country in the Americas. As a result, our company has established a goal of building an international brand hotel 30 minutes from each macro and microeconomic city in the Dominican Republic. This goal is known! as VISION 2030!”, proclaimed De Valle II.
He said that the construction of this new La Quinta hotel puts San Francisco de Macorís on the world tourism map, a province that he described as wonderful, “with extraordinary people.”
